One of the most interesting parts of being a maths tutor for as long as I have is building up a repository of interview questions and getting to see how so many different students respond to the same problems. As there are so many myths around Oxbridge interviews and it’s often such a source of stress it’s a pleasure to be able to set the record straight, give students the chance to experience an Oxbridge maths interview (without the stakes!) and allow students to take the time to work on how to best represent themselves in the real thing. What I’ve found is that when there’s no pressure, students often really enjoy discussing the types of problems that you would expect to see in interviews!
